Pangkor / Lumut
|
|
Actually trip pegi Pangkor / Lumut ni dah lama dah... baru upload pics cuma tak update the story sebabnya fp ni tersangat la lembabnya nak update masa tu... fed-up betul!...
Anyway we went there in last June 2009...
we parked our car at the Lumut jetty and went there by the ferry... seronok jugak naik feri ni tapi tak lama sangat about half an hour to reach Pangkor Island...
Sampai je pulau, terus chartered van and pegi hotel yg dah kitorang booked; Puteri Bayu Beach... relax jap kat bilik pastu petang tu terus pegi pantai belakang hotel...
pantai kat sini best jugak sebab very close to the trees... boleh duduk bawah pokok yang redup sambil main air ombak.... best woh! pastu makan aiskrim...tengok arissa dah comot sebab makan aiskrim....hahahaaa...
relax tepi pantai sampai petang... dapat tengok sunset yang cantik... what a beautiful life!
belah malam, makan ikan bakar / seafood kat hotel....ymymymymymmmmm...

Shopping Spree @ Jakarta!
|
|
Mid of February'09, from 19th to 22nd, Arissa's mommy went to Jakarta with friends... time for 'mommy' to be once single life again... yuhuuu... we shopping like heaven at Jakarta! ...things there were all very nice and sweet... just imagine everything we saw, we wanna buy... moreover our ringgit currency there was damn expensive... we were millionaires!!! huhuhu!!!
On Thursday 19 Feb, we arrived Jakarta late because our flight delayed from 9.55am to 1.55pm... and here was the begining of the 1st 'babak'....kuikuikuiii....
Babak 1 :
Sampai Jakarta @ 4pm (Malaysia time)... terus cari van utk ke hotel... byk sgt 'ulat' kat airport... bila dah pilih van depa sibuk angkatkan beg... bila kami dah nak jalan naik van... rupa-rupanya depa mintak duit, upah angkatkan beg... ...dlm van masing-masing mengomel siapa la yg suruh depa angkat beg kami....hahahhaaa...
Babak 2 :
Malam tu kami pi makan nasi padang kat Restoren Sederhana... satu meja penuh dengan lauk pauk... tapi lauk paling best ialah sambal ayam hijau....heheheehee.... lepas makan, pi ronda-ronda Jakarta waktu malam naik taxi vios bluebird... kira pakai meter... we spent about Rp85,000 per taxi...
Babak 3 :
Keesokan harinya, Jumaat 20 Feb, lepas sarapan kat hotel, kami terus menapak ke Pasar Tanah Abang... semangat berkobar-kobar nak pi shopping... heheheee.... masa sampai ada yang baru buka kedai dan ada kedai yang belum buka lagi... jadi, kami tengok-tengok dulu dan cuba tawar harga rendah sempena buka kedai.... ... akan tetapi, malangnya mula-mula kedai dah kena tipu....kukuikuiii... ...kedai pertama yang kami beli ialah kedai pakaian 'blouse' bunga macam 'sommerset'... tawar punya tawar tak dapat jugak harga yg kami nak... sampai beg plastik baju yg kami beli dah kena campak ke bawah meja (sbb tukang kedai sudah marahhh!!!)... ...at last kami ambil jugak baju tu tapi kurangkan bilangan baju tersebut.... bengang punya pasal... tengok-tengok kedai lain bagi harga lebih murah... geram aje.... teruk betul kedai tu, bakar baru tau!!
Babak 4 :
Seharian kat Pasar Tanah Abang... penat betul jalan satu pasar 8 tingkat tu....kaki den pun dah naik lenguh and sengal-sengal... ...mata and kepala pun dah pening asyik melihat kiri kanan atas bawah... ...kalau ikutkan hati semua bende nak beli kat situ... telekung, batik indon, baju sulam ribbon, baju pi ofis, baju blouse, swimming suit, baju + barang baby... semua cantik-cantik banget seh... huh!!! dah tengah hari sikit perut mula berkeroncong... tapi kawan-kawan den ni dah hilang ingatan gamaknya ber-sopping tak ingat nak makan.... ... buang air pun tidak den rasa.... terpaksa layan je la... den rasa kalau en rasid ikut ni mesti dia dah bebel satu depa dahhh... ahhahaaa... nasib baik den pergi dgn kawan-kawan....ehheheee... dah berplastik-plastik membeli belah sampai kedai nak tutup dah baru teringat nak balik... aduhhhsss balik pulak kena jalan kaki sebab tak boleh naik taxi....jalan rayanya macetttt!!!! kena la balik jalan kaki dgn beg plastik yang besar mcm santa claus....hahahahaaa... tu la shopping tak ingat-ingat... ... sampai hotel kawan den baru perasan dia dah tertinggal 1 beg plastik besar baju anak-anak...adehhhhh... haruuu!!! nasib baik dia coooollll.... dah bukan rezeqi.... try gak call tukang kedai tu tapi org tu kata takde pun beg plastik tertinggal.... ermmmm.....
Babak 5 :
Babak 6 :
Selepas ke MONAS, kami ke beberapa pasaraya besar di Jakarta seperti Mangga 2, ITC, Anggrek Mall... pasaraya besar diorang sama macam Mid Valley kat KL... ada tempat main roller blade lai...! Ingatkan dah berhenti shopping... kat sini kami shopping sakan lai esp. bila masuk kedai Ralph Lauren... sampai Pak Guard kat situ tegur, berapa juta kami belanja kat Ralph Lauren... sbb bagi diorg tempat ni mahalll yang amat!!! kuikuikuiiii...
Babak 7 : Petang tu, pergi minum petang kat dunkin donut... rasanya dah banyak kami membeli tapi masih rasa tak puas dan tak cukup lagi.... camane tu?!...
Babak 8 : Sebenarnya hari akhir kat Jakarta ni kami bercadang tak mahu tidur di hotel sebab nanti pagi-pagi pukul 5 macam tu dah kena bertolak ke airport... rugi la hanya beberapa jam nak balik hotel.... jadi sepanjang malam kami jalan-jalan naik van... adeh dah la van penuh muatan dengan beg dan juga kami 7 orang... van tu sebenarnya avanza... mana la besar sangat...heheheee....
Babak 9 : Selepas ke Anggrek Mall malam tu, kami lalu Kemang Raya... kat situ jumpa kedai Ralph Lauren... ape lagi...sambung shopping lagi sampai jam 12.00 malam... selepas itu sambung perjalanan ke Taman Fantasi Ancol... dapat gak tengok rupa taman ni macamana... ingatkan macam disneyland hong kong ke.... hehhehe... macam danga bay je rupanya.... masa sampai situ taman ni dah tutup dah... kami ke sana saja melepak and makan malam / supper sementara menunggu pagi.... hehehee...
Babak 10 : Sampai di Jakarta International Airport jam 5.30 pagi... awal ni... tapi orang dah mula ramai... kali ni flight tak delay pulak... kalau tak alamat tak ingat dunia la kami bershoppingggg sakan lagi.... hehehee... naik je flight, semua zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... ngantok wohhh!!!
...To my dearie NurArissa Damia...
Telekung Stoberi dari Jakarta, Indonesia....
"Semoga jadi anak yang solehah..."

Last weekend, En Rasid went to Hong Kong... when i asked to accompany him, he said "it is a short journey and only means to settle the office work" ...huh... so i couldn't accompany him there.... but he promised me to buy good gifts from HK.... tq, dear!
He took off on Sunday 8th February 09.... here are some pics to share....

Can you see Jackie Chan in this pic?
En Rasid went to Aberdeen Night Cruise, Floating Restaurant, Harbour City and also to the Peak of HK...
This is at the top of the highest building in HK; "The Peak of Hong Kong"... the view, awesome!
En Rasid returned home on Wednesday 11th February 2009 early morning and brought some gifts for the 2 of us...Mommy and Acca....
Acca got 2 sweetie gowns and chocolatesss... while mommy got 1 blazer suit and ralph lauren long sleeve shirt which cost about HK$160 and HK$650 respectively... but unfortunately, the size does not suit me... what a frustration... ...

CNY at PD and Anniversary & Birthday - double celebrations!
|
|
24 January 2009...we went to Port Dickson to spend our Chinese New Year (CNY) holiday there... and stayed 2 days one night at Selesa Beach Resort... Actually we have not booked for the hotel, we gambled ourselves to go there and luckily got one room on the spot ... and the price for "super peak" cny eve... huh! bloody expensive... we paid about RM290 for only a standard room.... btw we really love this place.... the pool, the sea, the coconut grove cafe along the seaside... the purely white sand and clean beach... these are things that really make us attracted....
We arrived at Selesa about 2.30pm and then check-in.... in the late afternoon, we were ready to go to the beach!!!
We had a great day at the beach, our activities were not limited to swimming only, but we had tons of other great activities that we enjoyed on the beach like had some picnic with little junk food, playing with sands, swimming at the sea, looking for small crab critters, write message in the sand, watching the jet-ski racing and banana boat riding, build a sand castle, looks for seashell and of course...relaxing...
...plus, we had a romantic tea time at the "coconut grove" watcing the sunset... enjoyed ourselves with ABC and some mild foods...
Well, the truth of going to the beach is definitely fun no matter what we do there because we're getting away from the hustle and bustle of our real life and enjoying a scenic place....
We check-out on 25 January 2009 and continue our driving to Melaka.... we gonna celebrate Arissa's birthday there...
Last 25th January 2009 was Naz & Nana's (my brother and sis. in law) 1st wedding aniversary whilst 26th January was Arissa Damia's 2nd birthday... hence we celebrated the events together with our family members at Melaka with a cake and also variety tastes of pizzas from pizza hut...
Happy Annivesary to Naz & Nana and Happy Birthday to Arissa from mommy and daddy at gather, we hope we have made your day a memorial one....
Arissa Damia, some pics with her new white gown on her 2nd birthday...26th January 2009...
Birthday presents:
Nek Busu : Cutee cat pillow - Arissa really loved it... every time holding the pillow, she will verbally say "meow meow meow"....
Uncle Hai : Batman aircraft.... glurp! this looks like a boy's toy...never mind la.... Arissa still like it whatever it is...
Mommy & Daddy : ABC...123... hope Arissa can learn fast.... love you, baby!

...It's been so ages since the last time i updated my fp....tried to find time but i just couldnt... within this 1 year+++ period... really struggled hard to achieve the best budget as set-up by the department as i could... plus i tried to be amongst the most prominent persons in the office (hoping that i can be the boss's favourite like i was in mbsb before...).... fortunately i hit the target, exceeding more than i ever wished.... me alone stood at RM320 million approvals of commercial financing... what an achievement for a new executive like me, huh! sigh!
Well... suddenly today i feel like to write and begin with something in my fp... on this brand new year ahead... hope the path that i shall go through will shine bright... so so bright...
Hope it is still not too late to wish, all friends and foes... "Happy New Year 2009, Ahlan Wasahlan 1430H and Gong Xi Fa Chai! May good fortune shower upon us in the year of Ox!"

2. Handphone (...am using Sony Ericsson W910i... i just bought it last couple of months!)
3. i-Pod (...have to use it esp. when having tea time at old town, kopitiam or coffee bean...! this is amongst the precious assets i got during my office family day! lucky me!!! hehhee...)
4. Digital Camera (Olympus 7.1 mega pix... i like to use digital camera rather than using my hp camera...the outcome much better!)
5. Car Key... (...a desirable WNR...)
6. My House Key... (the one tag with london & telephone bus...)
7. Lip Gloss... (i hate to wear lipstic... it makes my lips dry... enough to have lip gloss...)

Everything sweet, & everything nice,
Girls are ruffles, bonnets, and bows,
Dimpled smiles and dancing toes,
They're tears and giggles, dolls and curls,
That's how it is with little girls...
So now, the sister has got a friend...

Trip to Sentosa Island...Singapore
|
|
Here is the guide to Sentosa Island...
24 December 2008, we started our journey about 4.00 pm from Melaka (my home town)... drove directly to Johor Bahru (JB)... we safely arrived at the Grand Bluewave Hotel, Stulang Laut-JB around 7.30pm... and check-in... and refreshed ourselves by having bath & prayer before having our dinner at Sayam Restaurant, Stulang Laut...
View of Grand Bluewave@JB Executive Service Suite... the room was very spacious... giving way to arissa running here and there... to everywhere... to the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living, dining... she was pretty happy...
actually our room fronting seaview... from here we could also see the Singapore mainland....
The next day on 25 December 2009, after having breakfast at the hotel, we got prepared to go to Singapore... Prior to our 'take-off'... journey to Singapore, we met Pak Eddie asking for his advice... luckily got Pak Eddie, one of my coursemates in UTM who works in Singapore... here i would like to thank to Eddie Idzwan a.k.a. Pak Eddie for giving me and hubby guidance to drive in Singapore... your source was very helpful.... Tq friend...
Arissa was ready to take-off... yeah yeah yeah!!!
We passed by JB custom and immigration about 12.15pm... just to inform here, before we can get to Singapore, we need to register our vehicle and get the Vehicle Auto Permit... payments have to be made using an electronic smartcard called the Autopass Card (just like Touch & Go Card in Malaysia)
(Autopass Cards are sold at the primary clearance/immigration booths or VEP/Tolls office at Singapore checkpoints. Motorists are required to produce valid road tax discs and insurance certificates for their cars when purchasing the Autopass Card)
After the Singapore checkpoint, we drove directly to Sentosa Island by taking BKE - SLE/CTE - TPE and ECP (name of highways) until we reached exit to Kepple and Marina Centre and thence to Vivo City, from here there was a signboard which can direct us to Sentosa Island already... we arrived at the said island about 1.00pm in the afternoon... yeh yeh yeh... $2 per car and $2 per head... "Sentosa Island, here we come!"
Getting through Sentosa Island, the entrance was like downhill sledding (but dont worry it was safe!)... our stomachs started to 'sing'... sing song sing song... lalalalalaaaa... we were famishing...! huahuaaahuaaa...! ...we parked our car some where at Imbiah Lookout Carpark and went to buy foods at 7-Eleven, Palawan Beach by using the Autopass... Besides Palawan Beach, we also went to Siloso Beach... Well, the beaches here? Simply breathtaking...
It was a christmas holiday... looking at the traffic, not many cars on the road as if Sentosa Island would not getting so much busy... nevertheless our thought had gone wrong when we found out a crowd of people queing for the tickets to Underwater World... it seems we have arrived there a bit late... and long que would only kill our time... we subsequently proceed to the Fort Siloso, the only preserved coastal fort in Singapore (the only place which was not so crowded!)... We started by hopping on the Fort Tram and letting our tram host gave a quick over view of Fort Siloso and the different zones we can explore... Arissa really enjoyed riding the tram...
While Arissa enjoyed her day at Fort Siloso, her daddy, En Rasid enjoyed learning the true nature of colonial army life... here we explored the inticate labyrinth and discover what life was like for soldiers during wartime... En Rasid definitely love it!
| Quote: | "10 of 1000s men of many races fought and bled and died..."
-Ian Morrison, Times Correspondent, Singapore |
We explored the Fort Siloso grounds and got a taste of what it was like in the old days, with life-sized re-enactments of colonial army life plus authentic big guns displayed within its grounds... the most elaborate exhibit was the Surrender Chambers, exhibit Fall of Singapore to Japanese back in 1942...
In her own world... Arissa was on cloud nine...
As the day was too short for us to treasure all places in Sentosa Island, we completed our day at Fort Siloso and promised to come again the next day...
About 8.00pm, we went back to JB and that night, again, we had our dinner at Sayam Restaurant, Stulang Laut... one of the best restaurant in Stulang Laut, i guess... hehehe!!!
After that we went to 'The Zone' a while... and took a few snapshots...
We were almost fagged out... got back to the Grand Bluewave about 11.30 mid nite and... zzzzzzzzzz...
26 December 2009...
Actually we booked the Grand Bluewave Hotel for 3 days 2 nights only. So today we need to check-out! We decided to extend our stay at JB for one more night. Therefore we chose Naza Hotel which was also very close to the immigration, located behind the Grand Bluewave building...
Pics at the Grand Bluewave Hotel...
Our aim for today was to go to Underwater World - Sentosa Island...
Anyway, same like yesterday, we arrived Sentosa Island about 1.30pm with empty stomachs... this time we had our lunch at Delifrance, ate a loaf of tuna bun... pity En Rasid... he surely got starving in the evening as he was not eating to the fullest (eating bread only...surely not enough for his big and gastric stomach!)... huhuhh... travelling time, that's the price! ...whatever it was my dear, hope you were all flourishing..."
We bought tickets for Underwater World and got free admission to Dolphin Lagoon... with that tickets, our aim had been brought to fruition... and like yesterday, it was still many people in this place... As we fighted with time, we decided to go Dolphin Lagoon first because we had to go there by bus...
When arrived at the Dolphin Lagoon at about 4.00pm, we were told that the show would started at 5.00pm... huh! sigh! it took us about 1 hour to wait! ...our time flew just like that... while waiting at the lagoon, Arissa was jovially enjoying her ice-cream... well actually that ice-cream belongs to her daddy but she was really eager to eat that.... ...yumyumyummmm...
We however had our good time at the Dolphin Lagoon watching the pink dolphins in their actions...
Afterwards, we went to Underwater World...
Here are some pics of Arissa at Underwater Viewing Chamber... with sharks...
Inside the Underwater World... we saw octopus, crab, jellyfish, macrobrachium - lobster, eagle ray, shark, dugong, to name a few... but the most gorgeous thing was a dragon fish.. it looked like moving leaves.... unfortunately no pic taken... except video...
Underwater World, quite fascinating as we had never been to a similar aquarium before. The tanks surround us and we were walking through the tunnel with tons of water all around us - definitely not for the claustrophobic but we really liked it... (Perhaps after this we have to do another visit to Aquaria KLCC too...)
Here is the pic of 3 of us... in front of the Underwater World
27 December 2009, ...today was our leisure day at the hotel... brunched and snoozed by the pool...
After check-out about 12.30pm, we went to Danga Bay, JB and had our lunch there...
Then continue our journey back home... On the way back, we dropped by UTM-Skudai (my sentimental value old time place where i obtained my bachelor degree!)... we had our prayer there and then visit the Equestrian Club...
Arissa & Horses : She was not afraid of horses... she touched and played with the horses either...
This visit was fond of fun and exciting... we had a glorious time... hope to come again next year...
