Morning about 8.00am, we went to Bkt Baru mosque for Majlis Aqad Nikah...


With1 lafaz, Nana was officially be Naz's wife... Alhamdulillah...

That afternoon, we celebrated the event at Dewan MBMB Ayer Keroh (next to Jusco-Melaka)...

Sunday, 27th January 2008:

The next day was kenduri kahwin menyambut menantu at my house at ayer molek... ramai gak tetamu yg hadir and meriah sungguh...

Sementara menunggu pengantin sampai macam2 aktiviti jugak yang kami buat... fortunately this was not like those time masa buat kenduri kahwin my elder sisters (and my wedding as well); kena jaga balai, distribute kuih/souvenir, kena bersihkan ayam... this time semua pakai catering... so boleh la rileks and layan tetamu je.... and paling penting tak lah penattt!!!

Tengah sibuk2 tu sempat jugak En Rasid mendendangkan lagu utk tetamu... lagu ape yek... ermmm mommy pun dah lupe... tapi org kata sedap.... iye ke? ihihiiiiii....

Ermmmm…memandangkan sekarang ni Year End Sale (YES), mommy pergi shopping kat Sogo baru2 ni…. Teringat awal thn depan Cik Anaz nak kawin… so Arissa boleh lah pakai baju flower girl nanti…. hiihihihiiii… so mommy pun carikan baju flower girl utk Arissa kat Sogo….

Last Monday when daddy went back home, Arissa heard something…. “meowwww….meowwww…meowwww….” rupa-rupanya daddy bawa balik seekor kucing comel untuk Arissa…. Mata kucing tu bersinar-sinar bila bunyi meow meow meoooowwww….. seronok betul Arissa dapat main dgn meowww…. Tergelak-gelak die…. Hihihihihiiii…




Tapi baru seminggu main dgn meowww tu, ia dah tak ‘bernyawa’ lagi…. Uwaawawwawawaaaa daddy pulak salahkan mommy sebab rosakkan meow Arissa tuuu…. Alorrrrr sorrrryyyy la daddyyy…. Bukan salah mommyyy sebab Arissa yang hempap meow tu sampai die dah tak berbunyiiii…. Die geram sangat dgn ekor & mata meow tuuuu….. Nanti mommy belikan kucing yg real… boleh tak daddyyy???? Hehehehehheeeee…. Tak tau la kalau kucing real tu Arissa berani hempap tak….hehehehee…... meow…meow…meowww…

Alamak mc alim... aku dah start keje at my new office last week.... nampaknya pasni my time will be very limited nak update fp nih... ...baru 2 hari keje dah bzzz.... aduhhhh! macam ni laa kalau keje bankkk... ...nak wat camno....!!! Aku rase dah tak sempat nak update majlis makan uma ko ni while at the same time aku nak jugak masukkan N3 makan2 uma ko ni kat fp aku..... ...so the best way i think aku cut & paste aje laaa dr fp ko yek.... heheheheee...jgn marahhhh haaaaa.....



After the makan2 session @ my house.... now it was mc'alim's turn to invite " the Mcqlate's geng" pulak to mkn2 @ her house in gombak... actually... inilah our best buddies time sekolah menengah @ qlate dulu..
kalau ingat2 balik.. diorang nilah "teman membesar" !! makan sama2.. tido sama2... outing kb sama2.. gi pasar siti khadijah sama2... pi pade bah (padang bas) sama2.. pi class sama2... kene kejar dgn "dhabitoh (pengawas) sama.... hehehhe.... mmg semua & segala - galanya bersama..... hahaha... sampai our warden hostel " ustazah mc limah" mmg bengang abisla ngan group kita org ni!!!! hahahahahahah!!! al maklumla... mc alim and i org melaka.. dahla takde saudara mara langsung kat qlate tu... so.. kawan2 nilah kawan.. & diorang la sedara mara.... bukan setakat diorang... dgn parents & siblings diorang sekali jadi sedara mara i and jugak mc alim.... sampai panggil parents diorang pun "mommy" and "daddy", "papa" and "mama"... betul tak korang???

But after PMR... mc lar, mc atie, mc linda, mc nazly ( not in d'pic sbb stay @ qlate) termasuk la i, semua moved to sekolah lain... ...i went back to my hometown melaka, sekolah kat melaka, and mc lar and mc atie sekolah mc jenab, mc nazly and mc linda sekolah faris petra... tinggal mc alim sorang stay @ MMP... ...and since that... i tak pernah jumpa my mcqlate's friends nih... except for mc alim coz she's "the melakaian" & her house mmg dokek bonar with my house... but masa first day masuk university dulu (UTM Scudai) tibe2 terserempak ngn mc linda yg same nak register jugak... dari situ la i kept in touch with her sampai la abes belajar kat university.... pastu die senyap sekejap, rupenya die dah sambung degree @ uitm shah alam plak... pastu tah camane i boleh ter-kept in touch ngn mc atie yg dok 1 rumah dgn mc linda kat dynasty-kl... bile dpt keje kat kl i pun moved to their house and we stayed together 'again' mcm mase zmn sekolah dulu... hahahaa... seronok jugakkkk.... pastu sorang2 kahwin and kitorang pun dah mula dok uma asing2... sampai lah turn linda pulak yg kahwin...

During linda's wedding early this year la kita org berjejak kasih gathering and get close together-gether sama2 ramai2 again....... sukanya.... mmg "gege" la dunia lps ni.....

"the Mcqlates" including me & mc alim.... emm.. since sekolah till now... mcm tak berubah jek kita kan?? emmm... since age 13 till 30 dah this year... kwang..kwang..kwang... lobih kurang je kita ni... tak byk differences pun.. apa kata kita try pakai school uniform balik... hahahahahah!!! sure org ingat kita baru form 5 kan??


As promised... on thursday (8 nov 07) mc alim has invited "the Mcqlates" to mkn2 & lepak2 @ her house... rupe2nye mc alim sudah pergi beli periuk bosar utk masak2 ni... yelah.. kan periuk plg bosar yg die ade was her rice cooker yg dpt hadiah time kawin dulu.. kih..kih... bile i sampai i tengok ade periuk besar kat dapur....wahhhh mc alim caya lah lu... pasni boleh la buat makan2 selalu.... ehehhehee....

Saturday-3rd Nov'07, i've invited all my Mc Qlates friends i.e mc atie, mc lar, mc linda and mc alim (kire mc alim pun mc qlate jugok ahhhh sbb make budu sokmo...heheheeee !) to come over to my house for lunch!

Well menu of the day....
Nasi tomato with daging satay, ayam masak kurma, sambal ayam, seronding daging, garden of salad served with thousand island, kerabu mangga and also raya cookiesss...

i cooked most of all the dishes... but the most important thing was my nasi tomato cukup 'menjadi' walau pun baru 1st time i buat.... hehehheeee... demo sumo ghoyak sedap... (perase'!!!) esp. linda yg tengoh pregnant and mengide nok make nasi tomato pulok....hihihihihiiii... ...sebelum buat tu byk kali jugak call chef kalsom (my mother!)... tanye guano nak masok nihh.... anyway, lupo pulok nok amik gambo nasi tomato ambo yg canteq tuh.... hehheheheheeee...


About 1.00pm all guests dah start sampai... mula2 mclar and mc atie... pastu mc linda...and diikuti dgn mc alim...



...lama tak berkumpul ramai2 gini... gege la gamoknyoooo rumah i... hahahaaaa... ....rasa baru je zaman sekolah sama2 kat qlate dulu... ermmm aleh2 bila jumpa la ni sume dah ada anak sorang 1... kejap betul masa berlalu....

Friday, 26/10/2007 was the last day for me working at MBSB. I've got a better offer to Bank Rakyat and will start working in November 2007.

For the farewell party, both of my bosses Mr Steven Lee Chui Chick and En Zaili went to blanje me eating western foods...

1st, my boss, Mr Steven Lee Chui Chick blanje makan @ Jake's Charbroil Steaks, Damansara. I ate steaks... (mak aiiihhh liat le plak daging die.... lupe plak mase i makan kat San Fransico-KLCC aritu pun same gak.... steak tu mmg liat.... tapi i makan je laaa... boss dah blanje kan...hehehheee... ) Anyway thanks to Mr Steven, for me, you was a very amiable boss...




2nd time, En Zaili brought us (1 department) makan @ Monte's, Bangsar . This time, I ate grilled salmon... huhhh bestttt.... hehehheee... on the way back to the office with boss, he gave me pearl bracelet... (sayang jugak die kat i yek.... ye laa kiranya i ni "org kuat" die kat department tu... thanks a lot to u boss, u've taught me a lot of things in corporate loans.. .!) ...hehehheeee.... balik2 terus i ckp kat En Rasid.... dont get jealous aaaa... my boss bagi gelang mutiara nihhh !!! ahhahahahahhaa...

My collegues bagi gak hadiah; tiffany brooch n selendang... thanks to Harris & Kiddo (the 2 heroes who would save the corporate loans deptmt... hopefully!), Hilda & Ida... Well, actually i still love to work at MBSB... (ermm tempat jatuh lai kan dikenang ye tak...) it is just that i want to get more exposure in islamic banking field... Furthermore i want to venture into a more 'halal' working environment that practising fully 100% islamic financing....


Coincidentally, we celebrated Raye Gathering for MBSB staff @ Penthouse on 26/10/2007... For the occasion, it didn't look like raya gathering for me because i was there to shake every people's hands for farewell... sedih gak nak tinggalkan MBSB.... ...MBSB has taught me a lot of thingssss.... i couldn't be thankful enough...

In the afternoon, bersiap2 utk ke Langkawi… seronok betul Arissa nak pergi jalan2 ke Langkawi… mommy pakaikan baju purple Humphrey’s Corner yg K.Syafawati present kat Arissa tu… comel sgt… ...tapi K.Syafawati skang takde kat Langkawi, so tak dapat la die tengok Arissa pakai baju ni… tak ape nanti ibu die boleh tengokkan… (atau pun K.Syafawati tengok dlm fp aje la ye…. Cute, isn’t it???) heheheheeee…

We went to Kajang first to Abg Rahman & K.Liza’s house. As there were 3 families yg akan bersama rombongan “Cik Som” kali ni… so kami berkumpul dulu @ Saujana Impian – Kajang. After Asar prayer, we started our journey to LCCT and arrived there at about 6.00pm… it was just nice… After checking in, we went to departure hall straight away, waiting for our flight call which tentatively was about 6.50pm to depart. While waiting, sempatlah kami berposing sakan… ...excited nak pergi Langkawi ramai2 nih! Kecoh betul, anak2 sedara ade yg berlari2, memanjat2, berpusing2, termenung2, terjerit2… macam2 ragam…hahahahaaaa….


Ermmm… this was the first time Arissa boarding an aeroplane… nampak die happy aje… and luckily while the flight was taking off she was sleeping… so probably she didn’t feel anything…


We arrived at Langkawi at about 8.00pm… Busu had been waiting for us with 1 van and 1 Perdana… then we straight away went to her house at Kuah… Sampai2 terus makan malam… Busu had prepared many dishes for us i.e. sambal kacang, lontong, ikan goreng, ketupat nasi… and mak pula ada bawa rendang daging favourite kami tu… fuhhh sedapppp… ...lagi pulak perut dah lapar…. Ymymymmmmm (tak sempat nak snap photos… sibuk makan!) heheheheee…

We went to Gunung MatChinchang (Commercially known as 'MaChinChang Cambrian Geoforest Park') to ride the cable car…

En Rasid and CekMat ketakutan nak naik cable car…. Hihihiiiii… tapi kami belikan juga ticket utk diorg… kena la 2 org tu buat2 macho !!! Hihihihiiii…

Anyway, dah sampai atas tu, cuaca bertukar jadi mendung pulak nak hujan…. So the view tak brape clear sbb dah ditutupi awan… the weather was so cold… ...and out of a sudden it was raining quiet heavily… ...pity us, there was no shelter up there except the small roof at the stall… syian Arissa dah la sejuk… ...kena tempias hujan plak… kena la tunggu a few minutes utk turun ke station cable car kat bawah… and rasa sayang pulak tak dapat pegi jambatan tergantung.... ermmm… bile lai nak sampai sini yeeee…

Bila hujan reda sikit, baru boleh turun stesyen cable car kat bawah... Sementara menunggu cable car nak balik, sempat la posing dulu dgn Giant Bear ni…. Hehehehe…


Next destination, we went to the harbour (which we could see from Gunung MatChinchang) and took a view there for a while…


Dah tengahari perut pun dah berkeroncong… cinggg cinnggg congggg…hehehehee… then we went to Kuah and had our lunch there… Makan tengahari hari ini En Rasid yg belanje....yeahhh!!!


After lunch, we went shopping at Gamat Shoppe… pergi tengok org buat gamat… (org kata masuk tangan dlm kuali gamat tu tak melecur pun…. So we all try jugak… tapi makk aihhh panas le plakkk…tak tahannnn….)… ada jual macam2 ubat kat situ… gamat, pala, kayu putih, tongkat ali… buluh tumpat pun adaaa…. Hehehheee… Kat situ jugak ada free drink for Tongkat Ali lover… En Rahman, En Hai, En Rasid… and termasuk budak2 Akim and Ahmad pun dok try rase minuman Tongkat Ali tu… perghhh lepas tu sume terkulat2 kepahitan… En Hai plak terus masuk van lepas minum tuh… tapi yg pelik En Rasid punye le baham sekali 2 gelas Tongkat Ali tu…. Nak kuat tenaga batin le tu gamaknya…. kuikuikuiiiiii….


We continue our journey that day to Awana Porto Malai… lepak2 kat sana kejap… viewing the boats / ships... cantik tempat nih…. This was the starting point of Dato’Azhar Mansor belayar mengelilingi dunia dengan perahu layar…



Afterwards, kami singgah sekejap at Pantai Cenang…. ...ingatkan nak makan laksa kat situ… tapi kedai belum buka sbb tukang jual semua masih cuti raya…


Seemed there was no ‘Laksa’ @ Cenang Beach, we went to Dataran Lang and had our tea time there… ate mee with ABC and LaiChiKang… yummmyummmyummm…sedapnya… mmmuahhhzzz….


Then, we went to Langkawi Duty Free (sempat pulak budak2 jadik game boy kat situ… opsss… yg pakai cap putih tu ‘budak’ lai ke yek… hehehheee… tak ape laaaa janji u happy En Rasid uiii… )

Tengah main WarCraft-III ke tu?


Afterwards, we spend some good times at Dataran Lang sampai nak masuk malam…


Ermmm…dah masuk malam pun tak abes lai journey we all ni….

From Dataran Lang, we went to Kuah Town after that and did some shopping, borong coklat kat kedai Haji Ismail Group… ...and thence, baru pergi dinner at Bamboo Beach Restaurant (En Hai blanje...), makan ikan bakar, sotong, udang, tom yam, sayur campur, kailan…. Yummmyyy yummmyyuuummmyyyy…

We went back to Busu’s house about 11.00pm wowww what a journey…. We felt very fatigued but we were very happyyyy…. Arissa slept soundly that night… zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... kepenatan !

We went to Durian Perangin waterfall… wondering about the name of the waterfall… sebab ade banyak pokok durian kat sini kottt…. hehehheheee… we went there for picnic and mandi manda… Arissa and Hanin santai with their batik suits (Nek Busu hadiahkan… thanks to Nek Busu…) …tengok En Hai, En Rasid, Akim, Ahmad, Harris, Nenek, Nek Busu… seronok betul diorg dpt main air…. Mommy and Cik Lina tak mandi… Cuma main2 air aje…. Arissa pulak celup2 kaki aje… nanti sejuk sgt pulak…. Hanin baru mandi sekejap dah nangis sebab sejukkkk….she was shivering… K.Liza & Abg Rahman pulak tak ikut sbb diorg nak g shopping pagi ni and petang nanti dah nak balik KL… Akim & Ahmad ada final year exam at school, while K.Liza pun ada exam for her Honours Law Degree at UITM… syiannn… dtg cuti ke Langkawi pun kena study… hihihihihiiii…




Afterwards, we went tu lunch @ Kuah again.... (kali ni En Rahman pulak yg blanje...)

In the evening, we went to Idaman Suri, shopping pinggan mangkuk and sudu… sukenye mommy dapat pinggan mangkuk baru…. (sengih sepanjang jalan...!) Hehehheheee…. Opsss ye… daddy pulak dah beli replica of wooden motorbike for his souvenir from Langkawi…. Suke la jugak tu…. Hihihihiihiiii…

At night, we went to Langkawi Fair and Hj Ismail Group again for shopping... (ishhh tak abes shopping lagi ke diorg nihhh....)

Bangun2 pagi terus bersiap2 packing barang, to go back to KL...

Well, i think our trip to Langkawi was exciting… mana taknya semua anak2 sedara ada bagi memeriahkan dan menggamatkan suasana…hahahahaaa… Hope to have another family trip next time… Ermmm destinasi mana ye lepas ni??? Hihihiiii…

Ini la 7 cucu2 MakSom yg selalu buat ‘kecoh’ sepanjang journey ke Langkawi….

Our flight departed at about 11.45pm from Langkawi… While the flight was taking off, it was raining quiet heavily and Arissa was crying and put her hands at her ears... maybe this time die rase sakit sbb tekanan kuat sikit disebabkan hari hujan.... mommy bagi susu supaya Arissa could calm down but she was still crying... last2 mommy bagi coklat utk die pegang mcm toys... baru diam sikittt.... hihihiiii...
We safely landed at LCCT about 1.00pm... Alhamdulillah...



Thanks to Busu, for the stay and the nice trip to Langkawi… Hope to come again to Langkawi Island someday...
